2019 marks the 4th edition of Fashion Talks in Antwerp, the avant-garde capital of fashion. The fashion industry is fast paced and ever evolving. Time to stand still, come together to talk about the state of the industry and meet up to inspire each other. We, over at Flanders DC, will put together a sharp programme of ON STAGE and OFF STAGE activities for you. Sit back and listen to our key speakers on the main stage or create your own programme of key talks, break-out sessions and networking opportunities. End the night at the 3rd annual Belgian Fashion Awards ceremony where we put the spotlight on all the talent our country has to offer.

Jasmien will guide you through what sustainable fashion stands for today in a practical and relevant way. She will illustrate this based on real and tangible local efforts, leaving you inspired and ready to take action starting tomorrow.
Jasmien Wynants works as a project manager at Flanders DC, a non-profit organisation supported by the Flemish Government that coaches and promotes creative entrepreneurs in the region. Her focus is on sustainability in fashion and, in cooperation with Circular Flanders, she created Close The Loop, a comprehensive online platform on circularity and sustainability in fashion. With the platform growing, she now gives talks and workshops on the topic, hosts a Close The Loop Facebook community and guides fashion companies in becoming more sustainable. To deepen her scientific understanding of the matter, she currently studies environmental sciences.
