Reducing Wasted Energy with Lubrication - GCSE Physics

Показать описание
🦊 In this GCSE Physics video, we explain that friction occurs when two surfaces rub against each other, causing kinetic energy to convert into thermal energy, which is lost as heat. Lubrication, such as oil or grease, reduces friction by filling in surface irregularities, decreasing heat loss and energy required to maintain motion. This makes machinery run more efficiently and can lead to cost savings in industries by reducing energy losses and wear.
