Reducing Wasted Energy with Lubrication - GCSE Physics

Lubrication, such as oil or grease, reduces friction by filling in surface irregularities, decreasing heat loss and energy required to maintain motion. This makes machinery run more efficiently and can lead to cost savings in industries by reducing energy losses and wear.
