Why don't people buy pre-owned or vintage pieces. All my Rolexes are vintage 80, 90s bought from reputable dealers with original paperwork. If i want a new piece it's usually an Omega. Just curious.

Zenith El. Primero Chronomaster Sport in black dial with silver, grey and blue subdials already looks more beautiful than most Daytonas. Pack that with the existence of classier and more complicated chronographs in the form of A Lange & Sohne, and other incredibly beautiful chronographs in the form of the Omegas such as the Seamaster chronograph, Omega Speedmaster Apollo 11 etc... really no reason to be going for a Daytona other than for profitable resale in 30 years time
