Math Warmups to start your math block in kindergarten, first, and second grade

These math warm-ups are some of my favorites to kick off your math block and review old skills before diving into your math lesson!

Good morning! I am so excited to try few of your warm up method with my almost 5 years old students. I like "Balance it" and "Quick Images." Since they start getting comfortable with simple addition, with "Balance it" I can ask or teach them " Greater than, less than and equal value." They know their shapes so I think they will love this one. Thank you so much!!!

Love it. In my district in California (originally from Mass!) we have a lot of Covid Protocols, so we cannot have them work in partners or groups. We also have plexiglass between desks. So, would love some ideas for games that work within these parameters. Thanks, love watching your videos.
