Man, when hooky changed the Lyric to "Where did he go?" I lost it, everytime he mentions Ian while performing Joy Division songs you can really feel Peter living with and through it, he misses is friend so much I feel, even decades on, long live Hooky, long may he reign

Hooky is keeping Joy Division alive in the best way possible. The Dartford Festival in the rain; not one person left despite the deluge. We just thought, "we're having too much fun, Fuck it, let's get wet". He does those songs in the way they were meant to be heard with that energy. I remember Hooky saying about Ian, " He always looked like he really meant it".
