G2 is literally my favorite. I love that they look more like horses with their leg and face proportions and the crystal eyes so cute! America just wasn't ready for them 😔

I grew up with g2 and absolutely love them to this day. The crystal eyes are such a nice touch, and I loved the turning heads and stuff. Also always have personally loved saturated colors more than pastels!!!

They're adorable! The rhinestone eyes reminds me of the Polly pocket pets from when I was a kid

G2 is my favorite, in my opinion they are the prettiest

g2 was super popular in europe i personally find them ugly but i think g3 really helped bridge the 2 aesthetics of g1 and g2

I guess kids of the States got so used to plump, chunky ponies, that when they saw these long-legged, slender ponies they just looked at them disturbed like, "What the fluff is that?"

My childhood was end of gen 2 (about 7) to mid gen 3 when I turned Teenager (13ish). I have a g2 money box and played the g2 game on pc. I owned a McDonalds Princess Silverswirl that my dad gave me. I sadly lost her. I probably donated her so someone else could enjoy her. My gen 3's also got sold at a carboot sale (I'm in the UK and basically it's like a garage sale but in a mutual spot is how I describe it to my American friends). They bring back such happy memories and nostalgia!

I had Sky Skimmer and Sweetberry in my childhood with tinsel hair from the Masquerade Ball Set. I lovee them so much, now I bought them back. They've arrived today❤

I bought myself a G2 pony just for the heck of it… I LOVE the style of them and the material they’re made of, and the little rhinestone in their eyes… they were definitely underrated

When I was active on the trading post everyone hated them, over time people softened and started collecting the babies, the baby g2 twins are beautiful I sold my ones because i had to sell at one point but I'd happily buy them back. ❤
