I bought a 1970 Roadrunner back in the early 1980's. I was just getting out of High school. I loved that car, I wish I still had it .

I bought a used 1970 Roadrunner in 1975, I had been driving 1965 GTO, 1965 Mustang, and a couple of Chevy's... That Roadrunner was like no other.. FAST and very comfortable to drive. I wish I had one now... I'll keep looking.

What an era. You could get any model you wanted with most any engine/transmission combination.

My first car was a brand new 1970 Sport Satellite with a 383 Super Commando and all available high performance options. Rally red with a black vinyl top. Had it throughout college and loved it! Still my favorite car!

My first car was a 1970 Roadrunner... Bought it in March of '79 for 650 bux. Other kids in school were driving Gremlins, Granada's, Pinto's and VW's... But I had 375 horses of Mopar Motorvation sitting in the parking lot...wish I could order one up right out of this promotional video! SO nice...

Look at that GTX in the snow. No traction control. No stability control. No ABS brakes. No computers. 375 horsepower and posi. That is all you need.

Had my 70 Road Runner 383 4 spd for 14 years, drove it all over the US, a great ride with some mods, bang for the buck, for trips I had 245 rear gear, a FHP officer that had a good sense of humor said all he saw was tail lights getting smaller.

When i was 9 or 10, my Mom and i went to a new mall ( s, dc) and they had new cars on display. The one i never forgot was a black on black GTX. This was probably a '69 model year release.

There was one of these in the neighborhood in around 1970. I thought it was a great looking car and thinking how old looking even five year old cars were. I thought in five or ten years these cars aren't going to look bad! I was right. A joy to look at.

Great video these cars were so cheap in the eighties, I wish I had been able to buy them all My first car was a1976 Plymouth Scamp with 225 slant six I bought in high school 1983. Parents would not let me buy a v8. I wish I had the scamp, it was good on gas and easy to keep running. The scamp was slow but I put a really good Panasonic tape, amp and Jensen 6x9 speakers in the back. One of the first cars in my area to have a real car stereo. I bought the stereo at the px on Parris island SC in 83, almost $400 that was a lot in those days. I had the only aftermarket sound system at Beaufort High School. I wish I still had the Scamp it was a two door hardtop with 45000 miles on it and in great shape, was an ugly tan color.
