Classification of Circuits:-
Circuits are Classified into various types.
1. Linear and Non-linear Circuits
2. Unilateral and Bilateral Circuits
3. Series and Parallel Circuits
4. Closed Circuit and Open Circuit
5. Dependent and Independent Circuits etc.

*A Linear Circuit is an Electronic Circuit in which the Circuit Parameters doesn't change with respect to the Voltage or Current applied. The V-I graph is a linear graph. Resistive, Capacitive, Inductive Circuits are the examples of Linear Circuits.
**A Non-linear Circuit is an Electronic Circuit in which the Circuit Parameters are effected by the change in Voltage or Current applied. The V-I characteristics are Non-linear. Circuits containing Diodes, Transistors, Zener Diode, MOSFETs and JFETs are Non-linear Circuits.

In the video I have thoroughly discussed why the Parameters change in Non-linear Circuits but not in Linear Circuits. And this also helps you to understand the basics and working of Linear Devices and Non-linear Devices. I really hope that this video will clear your concepts of Linear and Non-linear Circuits to a greater extent and help in Circuit Analysis.
