Great video! As a longtime fan of Saab I’m delighted that you’ve discovered these weird and wonderful cars! But I’m also more convinced that Saab might be the most misunderstood brand there was. If more people had tried them before dismissing them I’m sure Saab would still be around.

I'm a Saab nut, I have two 93 Aero's already, but couldn't resist when I accidentally stumbled across an Espresso Black version of the 95 featured here.... with only 77k on the clock?! So that's three on my drive now lol... Saabs are addictive & they breed on your drive! To get the full appreciation of that car, you need to open the taps in 3rd, whilst rolling about 40ish mph... there isn't much that will get anywhere near you. I paid 3k for mine as its a low mile minter, but I'm embarrassing expensive marques for fun.

I had a Saab 93 Sports Wagon, 1.9 TiD for my first car and absolutely loved it. Can't beat those cup holders 😂 and incredibly comfortable with decent power and handling (....for a first car!) I like this one though 👌👌

I had a 9-5 Aero many moons ago, most comfortable seats ever plus surprisingly brilliant headlight illumination, felt like a rocket ship in sport mode once the auto box had kicked down but don't show it a corner😅😅

The answer to the "practical but fun" question has always been a hot hatch, and 250bhp definitely qualifies (I know it's a saloon, but the principle applies).
And I'm willing to bet that's a fairly uncommon car, so it's even interesting despite the Saab badge.
