They need to just make it where you can join the next encounter when you're ready, rather than sucking you into it. If someone doesn't wanna get stuck soloing the boss, they can learn how to wait

I think it’s stupid that even if you get the piston and they don’t teleport to the boss encounter but just sparrow to the next section it still pulls you to them!!! It pisses me off so much

I think given that new people may be in the game it would be good for Bungie to put more effort into explaining how the events work as part of a tutorial at the start of the event to include what will be make heroic.

We had the same problem with the Coil. It took at least a couple of weeks for the word to spread that you needed to pay attention and smash the pots.
