The great clarinettist Martin Fröst came to the Buffet Crampon workshop to test some new clarinets, get a fix on his current instruments and share a few moments with us about his career and his view on music in the world.

OK this is amazing... when I was a kid, my father brought home the EXACT same recording of the Mozart concerto played by Jack Brymer, which started a lifetime of clarinet playing for me. He grabbed it at a library sell-off for $0.25 and thought I'd like it. (And I also play Buffet) GO JACK!!

After hearing his achievements there is always an obstacle poor families cannot afford such instruments and even when I was going to secondary school, the school shut all musical departments. This Buffet crampon clarinet at under 3000dollars is too expensive. The secondhand market is an alternative but buying from Ebay buyer beware the instrument is either cracked thus expensive repairs.
