The incredible Patrick Bartley is featured in this modal hard bop Jazz inspired arrangement from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Patrick is one of the most incredible alto sax players I've had the pleasure of meeting, also a champion of video game music, he also sometimes does a rendition of this classic video game music tune in his live performances which inspired me to create this version to showcase his ability!
The keen Jazz fan might be able to pick out some post bop inspired references in the arrangement such as: So What, Impressions, Joshua, and Yes and No. Hope you enjoy!
