Travel agency owner for more than 10 years here and couldn't agree more. What you're describing is basically how you make a difference as a travel agent for both your customers and your own pocket. 1) You need to be able to identify good prices, in order to offer the best deals possible for your clients. 2) Once you get confirmation and payment from a client, you do not wait 1 second to book it. In fact, some times you book it when you're quoting the package, just in case. 3) You keep on checking the hotel price almost weekly... and when it goes down, guess what? you increase your margin... some times I've even doubled or tripled the margin by doing this... and it's always easier to do that than close on a new sale... but hey, I'll add a 4th step to your list: 4) Do not stop checking other hotels in the same area... if you're lucky, you might be able to book a better hotel for less money. Just imagine being able to offer a free upgrade to your client while increasing your margin. Anyways, thanks for the video, really good stuff

I have been doing this for years. Additionally I book multiple hotels in the city(Cosmo, Palazzo, Ceasars etc) and check daily. Eventually lowest price wins and I cancel the ones with the higher price. Great advice James.

Great advice 👍..just a few things if you can touch on . Dealing with travel agents as opposed to booking with online apps. And also booking a package deal or booking with the hotel directly. I myself went up and down these avenues to save money. It's involving but worth it. A savings of 3 to 5 hundred is worth the trouble. Ohhhh everybody's got a guy !! How many times have we heard that. Well that guy's picking your pocket with one hand and shaking your hand with the other 🤝..
