CAN YOU TRUST MISCANTHUS UP NORTH: How many of our 4000 rhizomes survived?

In the spring of 2017 we planted 4000 miscanthus giganteus rhizomes on several properties near the big woods of the Highway 34 corridor in northern Minnesota. Here is a location that shows our results at this latitude are spotty at best.

I planted 500 rhizomes in 2018 and another 1300 this spring '19'. I easily had 50% winter kill on my 500. I too will not be ordering anymore for my property in Hinckley MN. Had big hopes, but i guess I will just keep throwing mud on the wall and see what sticks. Thanks for the update Jake
