Hey everyone, I’m Danny Donahue, the filmmaker. Thanks so much for watching! I spent months teaching myself CGI in order to create this film. It’s kind of a short Jurassic-era prequel to a longer story that takes place in Hell Creek, hence the title. Happy to answer any questions here!

I loved the moment where the dinosaur tilts its head on the side and it takes your brain about a second to realize that that means that it is looking directly at him with one eye only.

Okay that was utterly terrifying, and without a single line of dialogue. Well done!

Wow! The tension built within 60 seconds of a 5m 48s short is so well done. Bravo, Mr Donahue, bravo!

Not a single word spoken, but even so this short film weaves enough of a complex back story to intrigue, whilst jumping straight into the action. Really, very well done, and the concept could make for a great Netflix series.

Oh wow nicely done. Plus very good plot twist at the end. Clearly this person was part of a group of time traveling explorers. That had a return device attached to their clothes.

So if one of the other people was eaten completely. And the return device was still functional inside the dinosaur of course the dino was going to be able to follow him through time.

Very good indeed

Much better than Jurassic World Dominion.

Wow, soooo intense. But, even though I knew I was back, I would not have stopped running... I would have been like Forrest, run Forrest, run!

If the hunter stepped on a butterfly we are in big trouble

That was short but it was superb! Nicely done! The Allosaurus looks fantastic!

This was fun! Some good suspense, and a very well-modelled carnosaur. This is a fun teaser for what I hope is a longer-length video.

Not to be rude but allosaurus actually lived in the Morrison formation, not the hell creek formation, hell creek is where the preserved fossils of Tyrannosaurus, triceratops, ankylosaurus, dakotaraptor, edmontosaurus, quetzalcoatlus, alamosaurus, pachycephalosauurs, and many others, and the Morrison formation is the place where the fossils of allosaurus are located, and many other dinosaurs like stegosaurus, ceratosaurus, torvosaurus, camptosaurus, dryosaurus, saurophaganax and many others.

Extremely convincing Allosaurid... I wish the Jurassic World animations were as convincing and accurate... I also noticed the excellent depiction of the forward limbs being resolutely palm-inward, a point I am sure is deliberate. The only slightly unconvincing point is the character moves around far too much proportionately to the proximity of the creature. It betrays the lack of actual presence... If it was that close, you would hardly even breathe. I think also the smell would give you away, so the logs would be more used as shelter than actual concealment. I think climbing up a tree would have made a more likely scene, rather than attempting concealment, as that is what you usually do with big predators. I did hear of grizzlies climbing trees, but they are practically the only ones.

What a thoroughly enthralling movie short! Congratulations Danny, you did an amazing job….leaving you wanting more. I could see a whole film based around this, I’d be surprised if we didn’t see this as a full film in a few years. Superb all round!

As a novice sci fi creator with no cgi ability I'm very impressed with this! It takes courage to put a piece of your universe out there! All the best!

At last something visceral and relatable. A character who's not (too) stupid (I wouldn't have drawn the knife or I would already have drawn the knife) and an actual situation. No stupid theoretical what ifs and no ridiculous ironic twists. Thank you. Something I want to see more of. Blood on the chops is a nice touch. And rexy isn't ridiculously huge but still an enormous problem but maybe just defeatable.

This had more tension and better action than the latest Jurassic World movie.
