Honestly, many of the greats started off as background singers/dancers. You have to get your start somewhere. I remember Tamar and Traci, God rest her soul, would argue about singing background for Toni. Tamar always stood firm on that was not what she was going continue to do. I commend her for establishing her own career. All the Braxtons can sing.
