I love when you post about this game its such a well made game! Try out the nightmare circus(if u haven’t of course!). One thing to also remember, each book is a new main character and a different storyline to the last book(book 1 and book 2 both have different main characters and different lore). They’re set in different places aswell. Basically a new book a new start to everything: new main characters, new monsters, new storyline, new lore!

Also play the witch trials, its a very good gamemode imo!

Fun fact about the mimic: every book you are different characters so the 1st book is the brother in the start snd book 2 is the younger brother

Allow me to explain to you this new Book+Chapter with a 17-paragraph essay.



Welcome to the Jealousy timeline, the second story, Book Two! You are no longer Yasu Masashige—the protagonist of Book One's Control timeline, but is now Isamu Uchiumi. Your brother, Senzai, whose name is confirmed in a document beside his deathbed, is deceased, and you were in a quest to discover "what happened in Aogashima."

However, an accident occur on the road — or rather, in the middle of the sea. A gigantic creature called Umibozu comes pushing you and your boat below the ocean. Your consciousness flickers like a broken bulb as you see someone called "The Worshipper" dragging you.

You wake up in a minka, a Japanese abode inhabited by two sisters in poverty. According to a book, they are named Rin and Mio. Mio, the younger one, came home joyful one day. Rin thought that her sister must've been eating well without her. Her jealousy got the best into her, and morbidly consumed her youngest sister.

She learned that assuming is bad sometimes because she discovered that Mio had been somehow saving money for the both of them. The regretful Rin suddenly had a large mouth grow behind her head; it was Mio's, who'd wail for food in a regular basis.

Isamu, you, must leave the minka before she'd consume you next, but not without any marks left behind. You would then feed the sisters/Mio three poisoned rats and fleed the house. Rin realizes this, and thus allows her younger kin to chase Isamu down lengthy and obstacle-filled corridors. Self-aware strands of black, silky hair shot through the hallways, trying to grab you, but you still managed to leave and live in one piece. Isamu has survived the Minka!

Not long after, floating heads appeared on the final corridor, with two of them trying to scare you. But anyways, you find this stone staircase and decided to climb it since it appears to be the only way out this massive chasm. Speaking of, where is he?!

Isamu reached the top, but then an earthquake transpired. You hid within tall grass and peeked through. Nagisa, the Great ぬれ, a human-jeaded serpent, sensed danger nearing Yoki Town which it swore to protect. It would freeze a human into a stone and assumingly consume their rocky remains. Isamu sneaked past its line of sight, crossed the bridge made of bones, and entered the cave.

Unbeknownst to you, it was a cave towards Yoki Town. Nagisa chased you down, attempting to defeat the danger one final time, but to no avail. Welcome to Yoki Town!

Upon your search for another way out, excluding the hazarodus cave you just entered from, Isamu talks to a cyclops, hoping for any sign of escape. They refer you to a man behind the slau- I mean, a man at the riverside.

His name is Keneo, a giant, aged Oni. Essentially, he says that intel does not come for free; he wants you to steal a Seishin Orb from the Kiiroibara Cult, a group who worships the "Book Two equivalent" of Kintoru: the Beast of Jealousy named Enzukai. Oh, but I'm getting ahead of myself. He needs you to bring him the orb so that you "can get a boat to leave Yoki Town."

Suddenly, a large, long-tongued giant appeared at the town square. It was Shosai, presumably a member of the cult, with the intent of preventing Isamu from capturing the Seishin Orb.

I shan't bore you with the details: basically, there are five houses surrounding the Japanese-old-timey town square, each having a set painting, with one of the houses requiring you to paint a kanji symbol (yours was 崇 = Takashi (took me two minutes to do in Japanese handwriting)) lest you'll be consumed by Takane; all 5 of these paintings, along with more paintings, exist in a larger house guarded by an eyeless witch named Tsukiya; light the candles that are in front of the 5 paintings that you found, and then the Seishin Orb materializes upon an Enzukai statue at the house's ground floor. Take the orb back to old man Keneo and he shall guide you to a boat. You now left Yoki Town.

What's this? A ship in the middle of a watery cavern? Two separate eyeballs gaze upon your arrival as Isamu approaches the sunken ship. Suddenly, water surround you, preventing you to breathe. Thankfully, oxygen tanks can be found around the ship's premises.

Three entities can be found in the ship: Hyakume, a sluggish, "hundred-eyed" creature who actuallt have fifteen eyes, and inhabits the main floor; Kyogi, a humanoid monster whose eyes are place on his hands, and inhabits the lower level; and an unnamed Three-Eyed Monster that inhabits the upper diner. Apparently, candles can be found scattered in the area, which can somehow help you breathe when lit underwater.

Once you have lit them all, you can finally leave. But not without Kyogi chasing you out. Your final chase in teh first chapter commences as Kyogi crawls for you in the ventilation shaft. Isamu thinks he'd escaped Kyogi, but it still captured him. You left the sunken ship, in a way.

You passed out in the vents, and woke up underwater. Isamu had this "determination" that made him resist the urge to take a breathe underwater. He approached a cave, where he found the Beast of Jealousy chained upon a rocky wall.

The shimenawa is the rope above the doors, not the dolls. Found that out the hard way 🥲. You can also see what rin is seeing by looking at the painting in the room with the book.
