Helping Build Brighter Futures | Subaru of Rochester’s Educational Impact

At Subaru of Rochester, we’re all about creating positive change locally, especially when it comes to supporting education. For the past three years, we've proudly partnered with Ben Franklin Elementary School as part of the Subaru Loves Learning initiative, delivering much-needed supplies and donations to students in need and, of course, their dedicated teachers.
From 2022-2024, we made an additional $5,000 donation that directly benefited ten teachers, each receiving $500 to purchase classroom resources to better support their students. The impact was profound, with the additional resources helping teachers enhance the learning experience for their students.
Over the past three years, we’ve donated a total of 645 school supplies, 32 fully stocked backpacks, and 18 comprehensive classroom kits to support students and teachers. Each year, we also gifted a thank-you bus filled with heartfelt notes from our customers and employees to show our appreciation for the hardworking educators. “First of all, we feel incredibly blessed to have this donation from Subaru of Rochester. The kids in our classrooms that benefit from this generosity, have access to school supplies, materials, things that they normally wouldn’t be able to get within their classroom, so we feel very fortunate for this generosity from Subaru of Rochester. This year, over 10 of our employees helped assemble the backpacks, with 5 team members personally delivering all the supplies to the school. These efforts show our commitment to providing resources and staying involved in our community.
Our ongoing partnership has allowed us to support dozens of students and classrooms at Ben Franklin Elementary, reinforcing our dedication to education. Subaru of Rochester is proud to be part of a nationwide effort aimed at impacting over 300,000 students. We look forward to continuing our support and making a difference, one school at a time.
