I remember playing MYST with my dad in '96, I've played and proudly owned every game you've put out since then, I'm sure this will be no different. Thank you for creating the amazing worlds that have captivated my imagination for decades.

Revisiting this trailer after beating Firmament is bizarre. I enjoyed Firmament overall, (mainly from a visual standpoint), but would've loved to see this version come to fruition too.

I remember playing Myst on the Mac computer in my 2nd grade class and I am just so happy they're still making games, it warms my heart and it motivated me to also want to build games, or even just worlds

So, being that this video is the only official teaser for the game and is over a year old – recently there's been some buzz on the “official” Reddit page r/FirmamentGame from the horse’s mouth: one of the developers has posted a few times within the last week or so that this game is still very much active project and will need all of our support. I sure as hell want to see this game happen! Definitely hop over to the Reddit or any gaming community you can think of and spread the word and show your excitement!

So many comments about not wanting it to be a VR exclusive, but if the devs want to design this in a way that you can interact with the world in a way only possible with VR, then that's just how it has to be. Games made natively for VR have UIs (or a lack of) specifically designed for VR and puzzles that involve the depth (physical, not like story or complexity) that VR offers. Don't try to force them to hold back their creativity so that their game can also function in a 2D/flat space.

I recall Cyan saying this world has nothing to do with Myst, but with the concept of infinite possibilities, it could be a world where the ending has not yet been written~
