Scientists grow an entity that resembles early human embryo

A model that closely resembles an early human embryo has been created by scientists at Israel's Weizmann Institute. The embryo was made using stem cells, but not a sperm, egg or even a womb. The scientists found the embryo released hormones that turned a pregnancy test positive. They say their research will help provide an ethical way of understanding the earliest moments of our lives. Katrien Devolder from the The Oxford Uehiro Centre for Practical Ethics weighs in.
