"It’s just brilliant…. Every song works cohesively together, its bold, its haunting, its lyrically poetic and mesmerizing. I love the jazz fused with alt rock, the big wailing guitars, all of it. It’s angry and beautiful." - Chelsea Turner (Cherry Daisies, Orelia)

"Richard’s made a very good record. And I’m being a bit conservative with that assessment. My gut feeling is that he’s made a great record. I think this is Richard’s most dense, intricate, difficult, and rewarding work. Yet this record is somehow him at his most beautiful and accessible. I understand how contradictory that is, art is like that sometimes. It feels like each track is a different room in the same house, there an almost operatic quality to the presentation of it all. This is my favorite record Richard has ever made." - Gavin McIntire (Noise Beneath the Floor)

"Richard's most mature work ever, and I love it. Even not paying attention to the lyrics, it feels like a story being told. In the whole album, I feel the emotions Richard has gone through." - Maciek Buszman (Massieque)

"I have to say that Richard really nailed it. The flow of the album is pretty much perfect. Very good work on this, it really came together and I can't think of any way to improve it" - Jonii Vermeersch (aka @joniivee on YouTube)

"Reminded me of a classic Stock Exchange/Cameramen sound but with a modern flair. I often found myself saying “classic Richard” in a good way." - Oscar Hose (Stock Exchange, Borrowed Chords, Station Road)

A couple years ago I commented on one of your other albums with the cameramen, good things do happen, I love that album so much. This album is seriously fucking incredible, it's clear you've grown so much as an artist (the two bonus tracks on bandcamp are also very very good)
As long as you're making music I'll be listening, you've got talent man

Love this so much! Found it on a Mew fan forum page. But wow… such great songwriting and atmosphere. Feels like Adam & Eve era Catherine Wheel mixed with Peter Gabriel and maybe the more delicate moments of Diorama (like Tuna in the Brine)
