2021 Cadillac Escalade: Super Cruise Hands Free Driving Tech

The new 2021 Escalade is offered with Cadillac's semi-autonomous Super Cruise driver assistance technology that enables hands-free driving on more than 200,000 miles of compatible highways in the United States and Canada, using LiDAR map data, high-precision GPS, a driver attention system and a network of cameras and radar sensors.

My 2019 Kia Forte EX does the same thing, however it holds the auto driving feature (or Lane Keep Assist) for about 30 seconds before sounding an alarm towards the driver as a precaution in the event the driver has fallen asleep. But it's cool to watch the car drive and keep itself in the lane. Cars have evolved like crazy in the last 15 years it's amazing. I wonder what's next...

Why wasn’t this version shown at the unveiling? The grill on this one looks the best imo. They showed the sport version that is all blacked out which looks horrible and the platinum version with the galvano grill. They should had used this grill on the platinum instead.

Unpopular opinion. Not too much of a fan of the E-floor shifter. An E-column shifter like the MBs would be nicer and gives the center console more space. I mean compare the center with the new Tahoe and Yukon Denali.
