TIG Product Manager Devan DePauw talks about the Syncrowave 210 TIG/MIG Complete with Spoolmate™ 100 spool gun from Miller, which welds up to 1/4-inch-thick material in a single pass. The Sycnrowave 210 TIG/MIG Complete supports AC/DC TIG and Stick processes, as well as the MIG process. Devan walks through set up for voltage and wire feed speed manually or using the Pro-Set feature, as well as the inverter technology available on the Syncrowave 210.

looks like a great machine. in regards to the spool gun, what are the differences and similarities to regular mig guns? What am I losing versus an actual mig machine?

I can't figure out why I would choose this Syncrowave 210 over the Multimatic 220:
- Similar price.
- They both do AC Tig.

But Millermatic seems to have the following advantages:
- better duty-cycle.
- better MIG gun for non-aluminum applications (not a spool gun)
- Allows for larger 8" DIA mig spools.
- Higher MIG Amp output (230A vs 210A)
- lighter in weight
- smaller in size

I loved my old Syncrowave 200 and am planning on purchasing a replacement.
What advantages (if any) does the Syncrowave 210 have over the Multimatic 220?

Do you have any links regarding the output on feauture for Tig-Welding process? Do you have to lift start the arc then?

Hi! I'm interest in buying a synchrowave 210. I will mostly do tig stainless with it but I would like to know if its possible to mig weld steel with the spool gun? GMAW, FCAW, FCAW with autoprotected wire? Thanks and sorry for my english i'm from Québec!

I like the welder I am in the market looking for , the tig, and mig features all in one acdc, thumbs up, , But I most likely won't buy this one because of all the pushing buttons on panel to set up different processes and parameters, To me it would take too much time to adjust power and or wire speed, having to push a button 2 or 3 times to get to wire speed to make a correction or 2 I like the switches and knobs faster on the fly to make changes,

What does the Climate do to the Inverter machines since they are all solid state, my welders are in the Garage and pole barn, their is no climate control such as Heat in winter and A/C in summer their is high humidity durning the rainy seasons what effect will this have on the Inverter machines ? I rdady have two transformer machines that i owned for at least 22 years now with no effect
