Can I just say? Something I love about your channel is how you talk about things in such a simple and accessible way.

I'm a knitter and crocheter that works with regular commercial yarn. I don't really engage with the more more niche/'high' end part of fibre arts (spinning, dying, weaving, hand dyed yarn, hyper specific sheep breeds, etc.) mostly because I can't afford to/I'm just not interested. Channels that talk about that can be cool, but also kind of intimidating because there's a lot of technical lingo being thrown at you, or it just seems so out of reach? But the way you talk about it feels very simple and accessible and unpretentious.

It makes it a lot easier to see why people enjoy it, and also makes it easier to understand and engage with. Maybe it's because you used to be a teacher and you have a that way of communicating. But I just really appreciate it!

I really like the cardigan. I think it's nice to keep it around as a testament to all the knitting you've done and the style you developed. It is still very wearable even though it's older and it's nice to have some variation. I was happy to see it again. It is still in such great condition so even if you get only a couple of wears per year, it still adds on over the years

You absolutely should keep that cardi. You were meant to come across it again. Your hand-spun hat is gorgeous! You should be incredibly proud. My first project out of hand-spun did t turn out anywhere near that nice. I really want to get one of those cases from the Spinning Siren but with the tariffs, it makes it cost prohibitive. Maybe one day. Im already looking forward to next week’s episode.
