Let's get started! Select the data you want to sort. You can choose a single column or multiple columns.

Once you've selected your data, go to the Data tab. Then click on the Sort icon, HERE . A dialog box is opened. Here select continue with the current selection option. Then click on the sort button.

A new window is opened. In the column section select the column where the sort will be applied. In the sort on section you can choose: Cell values or Cell color to name two options .

Finally in the order section you can select how you want the sort to be sorted, either in ascending or descending or Custom list order.

Additionally you can also add additional levels of sorting to further refine your data arrangement. Once you've made your selections, click "OK. And that's it!
