Ask someone if they can cut out a regular size piece of paper so they can put their body through it? The paper has to be in one piece and can not use anything to hold it together. Then tell them you can do this after they can not do it.

Go to the link below for the print out of the Walk Through Paper. Cut out on the lines. Make sure only to cut the 6 pieces on the folded part in the middle, Do NOT cut the ends. Then unfold and you will be able to walk through the paper.

in 3rd grade my teacher had her father come in and show this to the class, it was actually a profound lesson that encouraged me and many other classmates to think outside the box for the rest of our lives. if you encourage that mindset while teaching this to children, it can teach them much much more than just a simple trick

I am curious to know why it works? Is it because we convert the paper's surface area into its border? Like let's say we had a paper of the dimensions 30x20. Now if I am being very precise in cutting, we could convert this area into 20cm of breadth and 280cm of length(I'm not sure here, but I think that the breadth will remain same) and 2.8m is wide for anyone to pass through. Please let me know if my thinking is correct or nah :)

You don’t cut the lines all the way through, you stop about half an inch from the end otherwise you will just have strips.
