in this vlog, I take you on a weekend trip scuba diving in huizhou, china. come with me to explore what dive shops are like in China, experience diving for the first time after a long time, see underwater footage of two dive sites in huizhou (xiaoxingshan小星山 and daqingzhen大青针) , and walk around the buzzing night market in huizhou - an interesting juxtaposition of a a fishing village and a beach resort.

🤿note on scuba diving culture in china if you are interested:
・before 2020 most chinese divers would fly to the philippines or thailand to get certified or fun dive, because dive sites there are spectacular and very accessible from china.
・due to travel restrictions, international diving trips are no longer feasible, so a number of dive sites were developed domestically, and huizhou was one of them. other than huizhou (guangdong province), chinese diving enthusiasts can also be found in guangxi and hainan.
