There’s this underrated corner of YouTube where middle aged men absolutely control their instruments and yet hardly get any attention. There’s a Dutch Lapsteel artist that is in a similar situation.

Got that "I've been playing guitar longer than you've been alive" tone that only time and dedication can give.

it's insane how a song you've heard so many times can sound so fresh

A lot of people throw around the phrase clean playing, and sometimes rightfully deserved but jesus your playing is tight man. Incredible playing

Glen credited Jerry with first showing him that catchy little run. I think it’s one of the all time great guitar riffs.

I really appreciate how you emphasise the chromatic runs in this one like at 0:12, in my dream arrangement there's a trombone hitting that part

Some people just have a little extra something that can't be taught. This guy's got it.

This gives me so much mid 2000s vibes when YouTube was about sharing talent and enjoyable, educating contents. Since the social media era, everything is fckd. Thank you great sir for sharing this piece.

I'm sure you didn't mean to make anyone cry with this cover, but here I am. My dad loved this song and played it all the time, just like you do. He was actually diagnosed with dementia on the same day that Glen Campbell passed away. He was incredibly emotional hearing the new of Glen's passing on the way home from being diagnosed. He passed away in 2022 and I never thought I would hear anyone play this song like he did. He did the thing like you're doing where you pick and pluck so it sounds like two guitars, sorry that I don't know what that technique is called, I decided to play the drums and piano instead of following in my dad's footsteps and play guitar. Looking back, I wish I had gotten more videos of him playing different songs and that I wished I had him teach me guitar. But anyway, thank you for making me cry and think about happy memories of my dad. I will have to check out your channel and watch more!

I learned this piece last week. Thank you it's a very fun song to play and it sounds as if it was written by Jerry Reed himself.

0:19 - 0:29 is the most beautiful part. The augmented chord is great.

Great playing. God bless you!
