At this rate I'd pull like 10 ancient shards just to try my luck at getting some more usable champs. Because it's holding you back.

Im on day 15 as a New F2P, lvl 41, an is on brutal campaing for training with Kael lvl 60
you should only upgrade/unlocked marked if there is an ancient shard in the next unlock spot.
I have my training hall with 4 spots for food.
Uncommon Shieldguard an Armiger is 2 that can help you in dungeons early game,
When you have made 1 campion to 6star, you should work on the next to help you out, until you reach 5-7 good 6star champs, then you can start having fun an play around with what you upgrade an do in the game.
dont know if you should buy fragment in clanshop, think the energy is more worth it in the early game, but do the Arena an tag team for Drexthar, since 36000 gold in there is not that hard with 18 at pop per battle, you really just need to win 2000(6000) tag team battles.

Yaga the epic chicken (yes, he is very bad), unless... unless you have a 6 star soul, then he is good in cursed city, otherwise he's just good for food, please don't invest in this one. Kael, the starter champion is better than this guy when it comes to poisons.
Sparring ring: unlock all 5 slots first before upgrading. after that is done, save gems until you can upgrade all 5 at once to level 2, then do the same for level 3... or just leave them at level 1.
for masteries, run Minotaur stage 15 only buy masteries for Kael, noone else. it takes about 600 gems worth of energy refills to go from no masteries to full on one champion, you save 200 gems.
Great hall: focus ONE thing and get it to 10, trust me, you need that to get arbiter, don't spread it around. I suggest accuracy for either force, spirit or magic and get that to 10.
Drextar Bloodtwin is really good, you should buy his fragments every day from the Bazar if you can, it takes you a minimum of 100 days to get him., but he is totally worth it. I didn't do it daily, so I haven't got him yet and I've almost played 6 months hahaha. Yannica is really good, so buy the fragments for her from the clan shop as well, after you have gotten al 100, go for Yakarl after

This is going to be an extremely long post.

At your current rate of progression, which is fairly slow (but that is completely ok, do not get tempted into rushing things), you will not be able to complete Arbiter missions in the first 6 months, and Lydia will likely take over a year. Progressing Arbiter missions is good because of the intermediate rewards you get, but there are several roadblocks in them that may hold you up for a long time (You need for example one Great Hall bonus at level 10 at some point).

Your main problem is a lack of focus, and being tempted into things you should not be pursuing.
I will not tell you what to do, I will only tell you what *I* did (I unlocked Arbiter at around the same time you are in the game now).

1) Identify which champions are going to contribute most to your progression in the long term. For me that was a reviver, a speed booster, a good dps, a good debuffer. In your case that's probably Ninja, Fahrakin. I avoided any distractions and just leveled up those (6 star, masteries, appropriate gear, ascension).

2) Identify which regions of the game you currently cannot progress in and do not worry about those. Faction wars are very important, but if you don't have epics or good rares, spending resources on them is not very useful. For most factions, I have a team of some rares at level 30 or 40. But here too, building tall is far more important than building wide. Wide comes later.
I completely disregarded permanent fusions, except the ones I needed for Arbiter. They are not relevant. Partial fusions might be useful, but these come after you get at least 5 champions to 6 stars.

3) In 3v3 you should not set defenses. These will not help you, you want your defenses to be as weak as possible and just grind here whenever you can. My first priority was 300 energy once per week. The second priority is Drexthar, but that is a long project that will take you at least 100 days. The energy is more important, but you should have enough currency for all soon.

4) I just tried one or two times a day to progress my Doom Tower (I completed normal doom tower on day 59 of my account, at that point I had 9 level 60 champions), but there is no point banging year head against the wall. Try to spend your time on spending your energy grinding 12-3 Brutal instead.

5) I kept my gear very tight. I never bothered with gear under 4 stars, and sold all of it immediately. I sold all gear without speed, except pieces with multiple good stats. Other than speed, you are mostly looking for Crit chance early on. Everything else is probably garbage.

6) I participated in almost all events that made sense. If you can spend 150 energy on dragon, and that gives you back 75 energy, then you should do it.

7) I immediately unlocked the sparring pit. I also upgraded it, but I suggest you don't do that (you must play a lot to benefit from this).

8) I spent my gems to cascade into more gems and energy, all the time. I never spent my gems on unlocking masteries except for my first champion. I got my masteries done by running Minotaur stage 15 after that, as it is far more efficient (you can get xp, masteries, silver, and you will spend less gems per champion).

9) I did not level redundant champions at all. Leveling 10 epics to 40 is neither useful nor impressive. Identifying which rares can greatly progress your account however, is.

10) All champions that have a niche use, can probably stay at 50. My 50's right now are Adelyn, Warmaiden, Runekeeper Dazdurk, Skeuramis, Packmaster Shy'ek. Do some deserve to be 60 ? Probably, but none of them are a priority right now because the use I make of them does not require that, and I will go into that a bit more to provide reasoning:

a) Adelyn. She does not have or need masteries right now. I only rarely use her for Sand Devil and Shogun, but I don't farm these dungeons regularly. I do not use her anywhere else. She is not booked. She is not bad. She will not be booked or masteried.

b) Warmaiden. She is fully booked, but she does her job (aoe defense down) without being level 60. I use her in tag team arena, faction wars, secret rooms but not in dungeons. She is not a priority, and will only go to 60 if I have no other choice or priorities.

c) Dazdurk. This is a cleanser/buffer. His kit is very redundant since I have other cleansers (Raglin), and better buffers/speed boosters (Arbiter) which I use wherever I used to use Dazdurk. At the moment he can do his job at this level. If I had time, this is the second most likely target for upgrading other than immediate priorities, since having multiple cleansers is useful sometimes.

d) Skeuramis. This is a recent addition who plays a key role on my account as he is my only good provoker. He is the top target for upgrading, but the problem is I have no books. He is queued up for 60, but he is already useful at 50. Since I have no books, I make the evaluation that I am better off getting Ninja to 60 first (whom I can immediately book) as the impact on my account will be bigger.

e) Shy'ek. Shy'ek works ok well at 50 for what I use him for. I do not currently need him for my main hydra team (I have Uugo), and I do not have any of the dogs built. I do not have legendary books to spare for him. For all those reasons, I am not prioritizing him for upgrades.

10) Laying out a plan for the mid-term. My highest priority is Clan Boss. No matter what happens on my account, if I can progress the clan boss, all my effort will immediately go into that. Other than that, I define long term plans.

My first plan was to do whatever was needed to unlock Arbiter. All my efforts had this as a focus. Now my plan is to unlock Ramantu, which involves automatically broadening my roster because it requires faction crypts. It'll automatically lead to Lydia, secret rooms and cursed city teams.

My advice for you specifically is to focus on Ninja first and fully max him. Fahrakin will be a great asset for a long time. Look again at your rares, there are bound to be some that you missed that should be leveled up. Level up champions. Much, much, much more.

OK Tom, yes, stop with the shiney ball chasing. Clan Seige is for end game players. Cursed city is for end game players. Doom Tower is for end/mid game players. Faction wars/faction guardians, faction whatever is mid game. Chronicler is a healer also, I think. If you can get another guy to 6 star 60, that will be helpful. You will be given Scyl of the Drakes at 180 days. Once you get 5 & 6 star artifacts only, you won't need to keep 3 & 4 star artifacts. Hell Hades has some videos on what gear sets are trash/useful.
The game was just the campaign and the dungeons. They added all of the other stuff to keep end game players interested in playing. I think there should be a chance for you to pick up a ninja as a character. If you just want to use your heroes for content. Level them up. Dragons 20, Ice Golem 20, Fire Knight 20 drop 5 and 6 star gear only. Spiders 10 drops 5 star accessories and 4 star accessories, maybe 3 star? Magical rarities. Better gear is available from farming dungeons. Crap gear is found by farming campaign. Good core team you have for stuff. Work on upgrading food champions.
