TiVo just sent over a new Stream 4K, so before we dive into some in-depth testing, we wanted to give you an intro look at what you can expect when you open up the box.

It does it all. also accepts USB devices like Hard drives, Thumb Drives, mouse and key boards. Drives can be for media storage or they can be setup as adaptive storage. Its USB C you will need a hub or converter

Got mine tiday. Wow. A step above the Fire TV and Roku player for sure. Access to the Google store. It's not a Nvidia Shield but it's better then Fire TV or Roku for sure.

My question to you is why does TiVo think 🤔 me or any cord cutters would want there TiVo stream when I can get my amazon 4 k stick
Which will do most or all what TiVo is saying. There so much I could do as a cord cutters with a amazon stick, the TiVo stream seams to fall short, or am I just missing its potential. Let me know.

Phil, can you increase the exposure on your camera or increase the lighting in the room. The video looks too dark and low contrast, or it could be you have the camera on AE instead of manual exposure mode. Looks too 18% grey card if you know what I mean. You are a photographer too so I know you know :)


Also, can you run a benchmark test on it like AnTuTu and 3D Mark. I like to know how well it performs against something like the Amazon 4K stick and the Mi Box S which are also in the same price range as this device.

Can you test it with the HDHR and Live Channels app?
Do the number buttons work in those apps for channel input?

When you do the review on TiVo dog oh 4K streaming stick make sure you show the Google play store whether or not it does Hulu with live TV fuboTV the AT&T TV now I know it does sling TV does it do YouTube TV or Philo please let us know with your next video I’m thinking about purchasing one these are the things we want to know

I'm guessing it does not have the ability to be controlled by a universal remote like a Harmony. However, if the TiVo remote can control the TV then it would not be a deal breaker.

Is Cinemax apart of hbo max, sorry non TiVo stream related.

TIVO told me this would work with my Denon Receiver and that I would get live TV without having to use an antenna. WARNING! It does not work with a receiver -- the sound will still come from your TV. Also, in order to get the so-called free TV, you must sign up with SlingTV at a cost of $30 a month. What the ..? So, it's back to the antenna for free TV, and watching shows through my TIVO box, hooked up to the receiver, so that I can have 5.1 stereo sound.

And Sling, so you know, is owned by Dish. Something smells fishy here, Corporate America.

Spoiler Alert: inside the box there is a streaming dongle, a remote, a power supply and some batteries. Nothing to see here. Exactly what you’d expect and nothing more.
