I tell you why Villa fans are going crazy, we have spent 16 years fighting relegation, getting relegated, club almost going into administration, struggling to get promoted back into the Premiership. We know it wont last forever, but to be beating Bayern Munich, finishing 4th last season, competing again this season at the top 6, it feels like we are back after so long. Great club, great fans, great history, now with a great team and manager. UTV.

Arsenal fan here, Have to say big respect to the hierarchy at Villa, the drive and determination to see the club rise, when Dean Smith and Steven Gerard were bringing the club down they were immediately sacked. And they brought in a top manager. Compare that to what you see at United, giving Ten Hag new contract when the writing is literally clear on the wall...

Good win Villa

Emery is an elite manager villa started a massive champions league game against one of the biggest clubs in the world with two players Rodgers and Phillogene who were playing championship football last season.

Why are Newcastle fans saying it wasn’t as good as their 4-1 PSG result? Bayern Munich 6x champions league winners, not lost in a group/league game since 2017 (41 games) PSG 0 CL average team, Villa result is way bigger UTV

Some strange people in these comments acting like Bayern aren't some elite team that were unbeaten in 40+ group/league phase games. With Harry Kane, Davies, Neuer etc. Villa were underdogs and the talents of Emi Martinez and the best U21 striker in the world was the difference.

Odd that it's mostly Arsenal fans that are upset too; are you upset that villa beat the team that has hammered you a few times in the past while you managed to get past a weaker Mbappe-less PSG?

I've always seen Villa as a top Club. It's about time they started having some big nights. They've been a sleeping giant, just drifting, for far too long. Everton have to be next. (Manchester United fan).

The Villa players spent a couple hours yesterday morning studying Munich and attention to their GK coming off his line. That’s attention to detail. The celebration was because they knew their planning worked out. Great Manager and especially great GK. Is he the best in the world at the moment 🇦🇷

Enjoy the journey villa fans. And the big win last night. Relish that instead of looking too far into the future. You deserve it after being out of the competition for so long. I hope they go deep, but I think emery will only be able to get them so far. The lack of experience from the players will show in the knockout stages.
