My prediction of AstraZeneca's vaccine getting approved by the FDA is probably late-February or early-March

They should be able to stop mandating RT PCR testing at airports if vaccines reduce viral load. Those tests are expensive time consuming ( 4-6 hrs) and discourage travel and speedy openings of aviation.

So 66% efficacy in controlled clinical trial. True effectiveness in general population will be lower. Then it only prevents transmission by 50%. They intentionally prevent this so it sounds like good news but this really translates to very low effectiveness in reducing transmission.
