We built a real FOXY for Halloween! (FNAF)

Halloween 2024 is coming and we love to make insane DIY animatronics to decorate our yard haunt with. This year, we’re making a life sized real Withered Foxy animatronic, complete with a full endoskeleton. The Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 movie is currently filming and we’ve been seeing all of these amazing BTS photos of the animatronics, and it inspired us to make our own.

To make Foxy we’re doing an Halloween animatronic makeover, and we started with a Pirate animatronic from Home Depot called Captain Cuts. He has a ton of servo motors to animate his face and head, and a great pirate swagger that should translate nicely to Foxy the Pirate.

We carved Foxy’s giant feet and the rest of his endoskeleton out of foam, weathered it, and painted it silver. His suit and head were mostly 3D printed and covered in fleece and faux suede. We had to completely disassemble Capt. Cut’s face and adapt all of the servo mounts to match Foxy’s proportions.

Foxy is going to look great next to our custom Springtrap and Puppet animatronics. Maybe one day we’ll create enough FNAF animatronics to make Five Nights at Freddy’s in real life. That's a good idea, right…?

Using Captain Cuts for this was such a good call. He looks amazing! This Withered Foxy has all the cunning of a real fox, and... all the insides of an animatronic Home Depot Pirate.

The animatronic choice to use as a base was JUST perfect. It has every movement a fnaf animatronic needs. The way you guys altered the head part to make a working endoskeleton was fascinating. This one is literally 1-1 without any compromises, head moves perfect, the arms move perfect and it is so expressive as well. I thought Springtrap was peak, but this reached another level.
It legit looks like it was ripped straight out of a 3D animation of Withered Foxy performing.

Request: might be a little complicated, but if you're up for a challenge, try an endo-skeleton with swappable parts that can turn it into different animatronics! I know it's a little complicated, but you guys are pretty good at making this stuff.

That is bad ass. The fear on his face when you guys first went to turn on the finished project says it all, you guys genuinely care about the things you make.
At first i was skeptical to watch your guys videos because they look at a glance very kid focused, especially with the certain projects you guys put out but after watching this one and the spring trap one i can tell you guys genuinely care about the craft and process of the things you're making. honestly all i can really say is that i wouldve gone with slightly duller fabric. the vibrancy is what really gives it away as a new animatronic. aside from the fact that it looks too good to be canon, this is super cool
