Thank you for the detailed unboxing of our products! Yes, we do put a lot of thought into what is included in our Bugout Bag Collection. Our master gardeners carefully select the hardiest, easiest-to-grow varieties that will result in the most nutritious, bountiful crops, whether that be in a survival situation or just regular gardening. The Granny's Garden and Instant Garden do include the same varieties of seed as the Bug Out Bag but with 15 packets instead of 34, and they include the same seed book with detailed planting and seed saving directions. We love your channel and look forward to hearing more!

I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you and your channel. I’ve had a garden for decades and I so enjoy watching you and getting so many great ideas.
Here’s one for you and your YouTube family.
After your giant sunflowers 🌻 are done hang them in you garage or barn to dry. Then in the winter hang them in your trees. I’m telling you our squirrels and birds just love them!! God bless 🥰

Last winter we saved the seeds from 2 bell peppers. We planted them all figuring maybe half would produce if we were lucky. About 80% grew and produced at least one pepper but the major amount had at least 2. We had bell peppers running out our ears! It has become our almost obsessive goal to see what results we can get from harvesting the seeds from store bought produce.
Thanks for sharing your experience and insight and your family & friends with us. Happy Thanksgiving!

Great over view of these different companies, only thing about the Sustainable Seed Company is they have no beans! I think beans for my fam is a must have in there. Now I could always just buy that by itself and store them away too.

I buy my seeds from big box stores when they go on clearance at the end of the summer for 10 cents each. Works for me 😂👌🏻

I was gifted survival seeds in a can a few years ago. Those are for the future. I have purchased all the seeds I need for next year, this fall. Thanks for this informative video. Bless You and Yours

Thanks, Jess! This was so informative and helpful. I tried to order the Bug Out Bag of seeds, but they were sold out, so I ordered the Granny's garden and the other small package from the same company. I will use one next spring/summer and save the other one for my emergency stash. I am one who loves to look at seed catalogs, but gets overwhelmed at the choices, so these kits are perfect for me.

This spring, I have been approved to start a container garden at 2 homes, where there is space and light available. My whole Christmas list is pots, soil, and seeds! Even my son is getting excited. His request is broccoli because it's his favorite. LOL
Currently trying to figure out what/how to start growing things indoors right now.

My son also wants to try vermiculture!

I see the seed kits in various places, however, they often do not have the things I like to eat in them. I like to buy what I know I will eat and what grows well in my neck of the woods. 😊.

Dried hot peppers at the store (seeds), grow like crazy.... I like to choose the ones from mexico. You get the peppers and a ton of seeds.!!!

I'm only half way through but I can't believe that they arnt pushing snack sunflower seeds, they grow so easily and are good for oil/protein and obviously are easy to save seeds for next year or even succession planting

I told myself NO MORE SEEDS. I see this and think BUT BUT BUT ...

I'm surprised that most of these included California Wonder. Maybe it's because I'm from a northern climate, but I've always found bells to be the most difficult varieties to grow and the least prolific. I'd go for something more along the lines of a jalapeno or lipstick pepper. They're smaller, but, in my experience, work better in cooler climates and produce more food overall.
