Didn't mean to be so rude but CVG has been my favorite airport since I was a kid --- a long time. I should have said that every city does not need or cannot support a large airport like DIA, ATL, ORD and etc. Maybe you have not been to many airports to think that CVG is so small. You also probably don't know but this airport was mostly built by Delta Air Lines to be used as their second largest hub in the late 1990's and earlier 2000's. We lost that hub status when Delta went bankrupt, merged with Northwest Airlines and inherited the Detroit airport hub. Some of the older unneeded hub areas were demolished to make room for other improvements. The pandemic of course is the reason for the lack of people now flying, that is a worldwide problem in case you did not know. Anyway, hope you take another look at the history of "my" airport. Next time you fly out hope you will have a better opinion. It really is a fine airport and it is growing, both passenger and especially cargo flights.

In my opinion, CVG is the perfect sized airport, still feels like a big airport but smaller and easier to navigate.

Worst airport I’ve ever been to. Too much unnecessary walking, very poorly designed and laid out, international is a joke. The car rental system is the worst I’ve ever seen.
