In Parliament on April 7, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Heng Swee Keat said Singapore's best response to the COVID-19 pandemic is to build resilience in the economy and in society. Mr Heng Swee Keat added that that has been the approach for the two most recent support packages. The Republic has unveiled a landmark S$48-billion Resilience Budget and S$5.1-billion Solidarity Budget in the span of one-and-a-half weeks.

Best way out of covid19 is policy.. blur the lines btw wat is pandemic and endemic, down play the media, bulldoze the idea that the country IS in an endemic phase under All variants … lol

There is no doubt Singapore is well-governed but as far as the response to the COVID-19 Pandemic is concern, we did a decent job, certainly not "gold standard". The accolade goes to Taiwan; they acted more swiftly than us and have no constraints from China or the WHO.
