I got angry today I had a outburst at my job I yelled at my boss I yelled at my girlfriend and some of my coworkers. I deal with anger regularly. I feel this can be a safe place and I see most people go through the same I hope to overcome this anger

this is APPLICABLE TO ME. and that's why I love it so much; that in a culture like ours, we are catered to, entitled, self-centered, and self pitying. God comes down and He never ceases to not humble us. And I'm glad that I'm able to understand the failure of my ways in hopes for correction.

What good EVER comes out of anger?
Even a bee dies when he gets angry.
The main root is unforgiveness and bitterness.
Work on it seriously. Ask God to help you. That He remind you, refresh your memory, etc.
Love conquers all.
We will keep on fighting the flesh until we overcome our "gods", until God is our God.

I live with someone who provokes everyone in the household to anger. This is not easy

I've had anger problems for all my life and this past Sunday I shared it while we were reading the psalms, and I swear out of anger and frustration at times and my mom tells me, your a Christian and you cuss? Its just im always fighting a battle inside and I'm always hiding my "demons" (flaws) and I try to give it to God, everyday is just a distraction, please be praying for me

What has helped me is thinking “no one can make me angry without my permission” or I guess you could say “no one can make me REACT on my anger without my permission”, And this has been a great reminder to have me stop and ask myself “why am I angry?” “Did this person sin against me?” “Is it just me? Am I just offended? Etc..

Oooohh my goodness!!! This is me & never realized it. I’ve been so consumed with anger & I had a mental picture of a person, layers removed & in the core is a person playing god, pride, my will be done attitude! In accordance with this whole message and leviticus 26:27-28, ephesians 2:11-22, 2 corinthians 6:14-18 I bind to hell every spirit of hostility towards God and others in my life, the lives of my family, my friends, colleagues, neighbours, acquintances, opponents and the body of Christ to the pit of hell while binding one not to be hostile towards God and others, while I bind myself not being unequally yoked and have any common share in those being in hostility towards God and others, the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah!

Because of my anger I lost my family my wife and kids...and now I'm alone fighting within my self

Scripture states that if we don't judge rightly, we will be judged. We judge for ourselves all day long. Attorneys judge based on evidence and experience. The mote in my eye does indeed prevents right judgement but the mote doesn't represent the whole of my life. We simply could not manage our life without the ability to judge right from wrong. God dose no condemn this but in this, the walk with Christ gives us wisdom to do this.

Learn from Jesus himself! He FORGAVE those who were besting him and those who were murdering him! He showed us that forgiveness is absolutely nessesary! IF YOU DO NOT FORGIVE YOU WILL NOT BE FORGIVEN!

wow, I made a comment 3 years ago and just saw it! I wonder how much anger is personality ... I am a type A and on overdrive most of the time. I am also black and white and always have been which I don't like too well ... Makes for a very hard walk to stay out of the flesh! Our world is getting angrier all the time and as a Christian, I fight this so much but the unsaved many times don't care what anger they spew... I hate my flesh and guess that means the Lord is forever working on me!
