Divertimento in 11 tone Orgone (xenharmonic 11edo piano)
Показать описание
A short composition consisting of a few ideas strung together (divertimento). The song is CC BY-SA (Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike)
This was made to test my 11EDO Orgone tuning plugin, and to see whether I could make something that sounds better in 11EDO's Mish scale, rather than a Diatonic, or Porcupine scale. I suppose it worked, and I think it's the first score of its tuning uploaded to Musescore.
The intended mode used is G Cheimonic, according to Mish scale naming conventions (or by analogy with 12EDO, G Phrygian), all intervals are minor or perfect. G Cheimonic is albitonic (uses all white keys). However, this composition uses quite a lot of perfect intervals (thirds and sixths in Orgone[7]), so it jumps around quite a bit.
In addition, I-iv-VI chords appear more often than the Orgone triads (utonal: I-iv-vii). The I-iv-VI is unique in Cheimonic, being minor. Chalceic has it as diminished, in Agoraic, it's augmented, and every other mode has it as major.
The replay was not automatically uploaded through the Musescore site. I had to edit the audio track, as the right instrument and pitch changes were not carried, so it was recorded separately from Musescore's audio output and edited in. The video uses the 4U Upright Piano soundfont.
