The callback of Cillian/Emmett signaling Reagan "dive!" was the most remarkable scene in the movie. The score was phenomenal as well which added immense intensity into it. Incredibly put together.

It's pretty scary when you see in this film, more explicitly than in the last film, that the aliens don't kill for food at all; they literally just hate anything they can detect that isn't them.

It's not in this clip, but the moment right before this scene, where Cillian Murphy uses the sign for "dive" to get Millicent Simmonds out of the way before he attacks is genius. I feel like a lot of directors would feel the need to flashback to the opening scene where she teaches him the sign at the baseball game to remind us, but John Krasinski trusts the audience enough to expect us to remember it, and as a result it's a really well-executed Chekhov's Gun. I love it.

2:32 One of the best parts of this movie for me was how they portrayed the way the Death Angels attack. More so than most movie monsters they are EXTREMELY quick and efficient with their kills. A lot of monsters go a bit slower so that they can have more calculated and gruesome killing moves. It makes these creatures very unique and scary how they waste absolutely no time in eliminating their targets.

I swear, the editing in this movie is phenomenal. How they're able to keep the tension and momentum going while cutting to 2-to-3 things that are happening simultaneously is just masterful.

Cillian Murphy's character became my favorite character in the whole franchise after watching this movie. I loved his relationship with Millicent Simmonds. I really hope to see more of him in A Quiet Place Part III.

Catharsis Factor: Given how the dock bandits seemed intent on killing Emmett and doing *who knows what* with Regan: it's difficult to feel bad when they get viciously slaughtered by two of the creatures, *especially their leader.*

As a student learning sign language, I appreciate so much have the main character in this movie was deaf and she used the skills she had without having to hear to save her own life and make smart decisions. It shows that even people who have disabilities are capable of doing things too

You know, considering the reveal in this film that the creatures can't swim and hate water, I'm thinking the state of the world could very well be a '28 Days Later' situation in-universe: the survivors thinking society has collapsed globally, but really the monster invasion is confined to the Americas and the rest of the world has secretly quarantined them while Oceania and Afro-Eurasia continue functioning normally.

I remember, seeing this in theaters, this is the most suspenseful and worrisome scene in the whole movie. Me and my friend were clutching each other, hoping and hoping that the brother and the baby didn't suffocate. The director did a really good job putting the audience at the edge of their seats
