9 Malaysians Rescued By Egypt Navy In Red Sea

Egyptian naval forces have saved the lives of nine Malaysian and eight local tourists from a broken-down motorboat.

The boat was in danger of capsizing off the northern coast of the Red Sea, about 35 nautical miles southeast of Safaga island, due to bad weather.

Following a distress call from the sinking tourist boat, the Egyptian forces quickly deployed its vessel and managed to reach the victims in time.

The rescued tourists were then taken to the Red Sea naval base and provided with necessary medical aid.

However, a search is still underway for an Egyptian who is still missing.
