FaceBreaker review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of FaceBreaker for Playstation 3.

Although it may appear to be a boxing game, FaceBreaker is a simplistic fighter that just takes place in a boxing ring. There are not that many different game modes, allowing you to enter a quick match or Brawl For It All and unlock additional characters and arenas. The main thing holding the game back is the enemy AI and the unforgiving difficulty that comes with it. It is very challenging and sometimes feels more cheap than anything. But the game makes up for this with multiplayer, allowing you and your friends to battle as celebrities.

Excellent review! This is how CGRundertow needs to work-have Derek review games on Nintendo platforms, and have this guy do reviews of games he's into-like fighting and boxing games.

It's not meant to be what you're looking for, they could make a UFC type game if they wanted actual acceptable fighting.. It's meant to be funny which it does v well 😂

I almost bought this game at Best Buy with a $5 off pre-owned coupon, but didn't. But if I were to buy this game, I would buy it on PS3.

Boxing falling in popularity? Yep, think that controversial split decision from the Pacquiao/Bradley fight put the final nails in the coffin. And I'm hoping for a revival of Ready 2 Rumble. That game was better IMO.

Boxing...does have tactics. ANY sport has tactics. It isn't like they go into the ring and just start going all out. That's street fighting, where there ARE no rules and its all just uncoordinated messes of punches and random kicks. Boxing has rules and the actors must play within them, given limited time. It takes skill to accurately PREDICT where your opponent is going, what he's gonna do, and spot openings and react to them immediately. Go back to eating granola bars.
