I feel it talks of the struggles of life and how we must go on regardless of what happens. If we don’t, we kind of become shipwrecked and lose our direction. I love the metaphoric connection between what we all face in life which doesn’t always work out and the unpredictability of the sea. This is just how I see it. It’s just my opinion. 2:37

I’m 56 years old. I woke up to the chorus of this song playing in my head. I had to google it, didn’t know the first lyric of it or who sang it. It came out when I was 5 years old. I suffer and struggle with Bipolar depression and this song sums up my life, im floored hearing the lyrics.
