Senku is such a genius haha

Recipe:

-carbonated water
-3 tbsp chopped cilantro
-2 tbsp lime zest
-3 tbsp lime juice
-4-5 tbsp caramelized honey

1. Mortar the coriander and finely grated lime zest. Add the juice of the lime and continue to grind. Filter everything through a sieve and squeeze out the last drop.

2. Now caramelize the honey for 2-3 minutes on medium heat until it gets darker. Immediately mix the hot caramelized honey into the mixture. Now put carbonated water in a bottle or glas. Add 3-4 tablespoons of the cola mixture through a sieve.

As a 16 year old who watched Dr. Stone when I was 14, I am so glad I watched this anime and wrote down the ingredients needed for things I was interested in because I can put them to use…Dr. Stone is fun and educational and I love it

I did try this just as a bit of fun. Can confirm, it does taste an awful lot like Coke, not quite the same texture though and a slightly different hint to it.

Not gonna lie.. dr stone is one of the best anime i watched, i mean the accuracy in every work. I am an advance learner like him actually i know more than my classmates😅, but he is on the level were i cant reach because of me being a normal person who forget everything. But i do say he did create a cola.. its not coca cola ok

He used carbonated water, carbonated water is like the base of every soft drink because thats what gives the fuzz and more actually.

When you realize your love of science came from an entertaining show. I already loved science but it isn’t something I’ll be making a career of. However, I’ve always have had a love for science, this show just further sparked my love for it, and made me become more interested in certain subjects sections of science I didn’t like as much or found myself as attentive to before. Really love the show and how it focuses more on IQ than anything else

Dr stone to me sort of reflects what obtaining knowledge is like on your own terms. Before the established modern education system, it was common for people (mostly men sadly) to be educated within a specialism from a very young age as a hands on apprentice.
I feel like some basic general knowledge is of course a requirement but I think we write off vocational education.
Honestly, human beings are more compatible with vocational learning rather than sitting at a desk for 6 hours. _Doing_ is how we always learned after all.
This way, people will obtain the skill of innovation too. You often see Senku using up his poor dad's money to _apply_ the knowledge from books. Build something, it fails, you build it again etc...
The biggest example is Chrome though (who I think is the most intelligent person in the show). Whilst 90% of the term Senku is regurgitating information from memory, we've seen Chrome create something new watching, learning and combining knowledge.
In a way regurgitating from memory is the sole aim of today's education system whilst simultaneously suffocating application and creativity.
You often see gifted students who are under stimulated and end up just filling out their test sheets the way their examiners wanted, getting their A's and not ever being truly engaged.

I want to be a parent who encourages my kids to learn through experience and facilitate them to enhance their chosen skill from a young age, whatever that may be.

I kinda miss the earlier seasons when full episodes were dedicated to just one part of a process. After the car, things sorta went like "now we have it 50 horse power and we made a gun and bullets off screen"
