I was getting this error

"scom data reader account is not the same as that in the management group"


verifying or changing the data warehouse report deployment act. u/n and p/w in my case fixed the problem, I created a new sql account and had to make sure everything is pointing to that. hope this helps!

thanks so much for the tutorials.
I get an error of Setup could not connect to the SDK to retrieve the necessary information to validate this account. (During SCOM reporting services setup)
My problem is at the point of validating the (Configure Operations Manager accounts)scom_datareader account. my management server is sitting on windows server 2012 R and my domain control in running on windows server 2008 R2

Can you be more specific on which point you are receiving the error? During the reporting services setup or during the SCOM reporting setup? (Are you referring to around 9:25 in the video?)
