Back in1983 I learnt in school that the demand for water would outstrip supply in the year 2030, where have our leaders been? Where are you ANC???

Honestly as South Africans it's likes now we accepting a whole lot of shit to be acceptable!!

If it's not load shedding it's now water ..and we still take it with a smile 😃 and the rulling party as always takes no accountability .

Wel as die Munispale werkers ophou met naalde rondhardloop en mense probeer inspuit en hulle damn werk doen dan sal daar minder probleme met krag en water wees

Get municipalities and local people involved to help at these municipalities for a trial run and eventually we can have more locals involved in getting the right process in order for municipalities to function like it use to be.

It is obvious the signs are there. My prediction for day Zero was 2025. in a labour conference in Namibia I said this and an expert said it was nonsense. The next thing is Namibia is also water scare so there could be a water war for the orange River 🍊. Global warming is changing the dynamics of weather patterns. We must carry on with investing as back up for underground water and conversion of salt water. More dams at coastal and inland to be built. New type of valves, pipes and couplings for limited maintenance. Using technology to understand our water problem. AND best of ALL I don't have any degrees telling you this.

Everyone has to use the toilet, and that water and waste water has to go into a municipal water purification plant. Our government is responsible for closing a lot of water treatment plants.

My dad has done water ( sewage works) and I’ve seen shit water being turned into good enough to drink water, and that goes back into rivers. We should never have to worry about water.

What needs to be done needs to be done. If they don't do it now the situation just gets worse. Eskom is a perfect example. I will try not to complain too much.
