I've seen your picture
Your name in lights above it
This is your big debut
It's like a dream come true
So won't you smile for the camera
I know they're gonna love it, Peg.

I like your pin shot
I keep it with your letter
Done up in blueprint blue
It sure looks good on you
And when you smile for the camera
I know I'll love you better

Peg
It will come back to you
Peg
It will come back to you

Then the shutter falls
You see it all in 3-D
It's your favorite foreign movie

Wonderful Sound... im a 90's Rap guy, when it was kinda in infancy especially in certain areas, but im over 40 now an heard my stuff... im into this sound from this timeframe... 70's& 80's is truly classic, especially when everything after is sampled from them...

One of the greatest funk/pop songs ever written. Such an underrated band. Thanks for the time machine!

I'm a middle-aged Haitian American man originally from Flatbush, Brooklyn during the early 1970s through the 1990s.
We moved to the suburbs of the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles in 1976 and I'll never forget how much this song meant to the Black American community from 1977 through 1978!
First of all, we thought that these cats were Black dudes! Secondly, it was a song that we all related to in terms of good soul music.
A classic for the ages!

The perfectionism involved in crafting this landmark album is a timeless testament to Becker and Fagen's musical genius. This and Gaucho are peak Steely Dan. No-one will argue that.

I was 10 when this album dropped in '77 and it was the soundtrack of my young life for the next few years.

Anyone who doesn't know.... Find out about the guitar solo starting at 1:45. Great solo, great story, and a true blend of awesomeness when it's all said and done... SD is truly the BEST studio band of all time!

This was about the same time FM radio launched. The sound was amazingly clear and crisp.

What is most amazing to me is the chorus (with Michael Mc Donald) with vox they imitate a Hammond B3...
That's so badass..

Super mix, levels of sing, choruses, bass, spectrum repartition of drum, amont of "glue", harmonic disto profile for mixing.

This selection is the best version I've found on YouTube. Everything else a microsecond too fast...

I used to think that line that goes ♪"I like your Pinshot"♪ said ♪"I like your picture"♪
