I am 55 and used to work out at the old Gold’s Gym in Mississauga, Ontario—long gone. The Warlord used to work out there whenever he was in town wrestling at Maple Leaf Gardens. I am 6’3” and 250 lbs and he dwarfed me. NICE guy as well!!

My dad wrestled him around 2002-2006. My dad was a legit 6’4 330lbs. Warlord made my dad look small. To this day he’s still the biggest dude I’ve ever seen in person

I Saw Terry in the gym around 1990. He was curling 225 on a straight bar and talking to us at the same time, He did over 10 reps like there was no weight on the bar! He was very huge.

I' met Terry back in 2004 I believe in Las Vegas at the San Gennaro Festival I think he was there with a friend of his who was running a sausage and pepper stand. I knew who he was right away and we started talking we sat behind that sausage stand for 2 hours talking about everything and anything . I got to tell you Terry is a mountain of a man and a kind soul. I hope someday I get a chance to run into him again

I hope I can meet this dude someday. I was a huge Warlord fan and I don't think he really got the exposure he should of have. I think he shoulda got a bigger heel push and won the title. He was massive and strong but also pretty excellent in the ring

So he and Road Warrior Animal were right AT the same strength. I and 2 other friends of mine, in 1987, saw Animal bench press 625, in Rick Steamboat's Gym, in Charlotte.

The Warlord was my favorite wrestler as a teen. I remember him most for being in the NWA. He was instantly my favorite when I saw him come out to the ring with Babydoll

I don’t know if this helps solve the mystery but in a recent interview with barbarian warlords tag partner barbarian was asked who was stronger and barbarian said he could lift more than warlord in bench and deadlift but warlord was better at squatting. Barbarian was a power lifter he said in his prime he did 590 completely raw and did 650 in a bench shirt. Hope this helps

I know Terry personally and I live here in South Florida. Hes a bouncer in a Nightclub and the guy's a Beast. I met him 20 years ago when he was a lot bigger. Very a very big presence tool and I'm talking. I'm a guy who's What's four hundred and forty pounds with twenty six inch arms And Terry was still one of the biggest tallest strongest guys that I've ever met. Thanks for the video, really appreciate it. More videos and wrestlers, power lifters and body builders concerning strength as much appreciated. Maybe a video on ultimate warrior Or papa pump

Great video with Barbarian and Lee Haney on here. Meeting both at For The Love Of Wrestling in April at Liverpool.

A couple of my friends lifted at the Twin Cities gym at the same time as Scott Norton in Minneapolis MN. They've got some stories about what a strength freak he was. He did crazy stuff even though he didn't take it seriously and was using lots of recreational drugs. If he would of cleaned up his act a little who knows what he could have done.

I remember being in shock as a child in 1989 watching Warlord throw Bushwacker Luke 20ft in the air live, he had crazy explosive strength. I have a picture of part of the throw somewhere

He's also notably probably one of the only few of that era that didn't come out with major damage from his body from those steroids.

The wrestlers used to all come to my Gold's Gym in the early 90's. I personally saw the Warlord rep 500lbs on the bench for 10. It wasn't 19 but it was a good set. Glen Chabot was a member of my gym and had the raw record for a while. The Warlord was legit

Saw him and Barbarian working out at a Tampa gym during their peak years. Leg presses on slide, tons of weight. When done, my buddy and I chatted with them. Both were absolutely monstrous sized and intimidating.

Good topic! Next 'Scott Norton', 'Richard Lupkes', 'Ahmed Johnson' & 'Billy Graham'.

If he legit benched 640 then he likely could have benched about 400 for 19 reps. Likely the gimmicked "500" was significantly less than that, so that he wouldn't get injured on a promo stunt.

Wow i didn't expect that u r going to release a video on Warlord. Honestly, in that era of steroids muscle bound freaks in pro wrestling, he stood out among all of them in muscularity. That is a very big deal. He is the 2nd most muscular pro wrestler i have ever seen in the history of pro wrestling after jeep swenson. The guy's chest, back and even legs were so thick and huge and is one of the strongest pro wrestler in the history of pro wrestling. In upper body strength, he is top 10 among pro wrestlers. His 640 lbs bench press is legit and is verified by two different sources who both personally saw him doing it.
