PARTY SPEAKER SHOWDOWN: SOUNDBOKS vs JBL PARTYBOX 1000

Two of the biggest speakers you can get, also big dollar pricetags - so why would you choose one over the other - what features do they each have?

Gotta say it's quite misleading in some areas regarding the soundsboks 3.
It can be paired endlessly with as many as you want.
The battery can hold for around 300 hours on lower/chill volume, 40+ on medium volume (which is already loud), and 8 hours on maximum volume 126 dci+
The battery can be taken out and another one put in, to keep the party going. (Really handy doing a festival, where you can charge one, while you use one)
It generally cost 1000$ world wide.
There's two modes on the soundboks, one for inside and one for outside, with major differences.
Bass is heavy and vibrant, while the treble is clear and with clarity, even at maximum.
It's really really robust, also being semi waterproof. We've literally jumped on it doing parties, with no effect whatsoever

Why they are so expensive where you live? In America and Germany the Soundboks is cheaper than the PartyBox 1000 with about 900$/€.

I Think u have to remember that these are 2 completly different spekers.. Try a test in a large hall or in outside environment. JBL is in a different segment inside while the Soundbox take the crown outside. (my opinion) :)

Partybox 1000 is only $9.95 for delivery from JB Hi-Fi to most cities. Certainly a small price to pay to save the hassle of carting it out of a physical store.

If you are a dj and want to have mobility and the ease of having amazing soundqaulity with a wire less speaker that also takes xlrs soundboks is the way to go

The 1000 has double weight.
And the 1000 isn't battery powered. Its not comparable because they are in another League. Both are pretty good ( i got the SB and hear the JBL) and both are a good. But i prefer the Soundboks. ( Sorry for my language Iam from Germany)

JBL is years ahead of the game, gravy chain as many as you want for Stadium concert sound in your home or yard

I have 2 x JBL 310s on speaker dtand for out door partys and i love them. The 1000 and the new 710 do not hvae the hole under for speaker mout. I now looking in to buy 2 x JBL 1000 because the sound and bass are sick. No problem histing a party for 200-500 people in the woods with only 2 JBL 1000 speakers. The only problem is the weight

So the whole reason why i bought the soundbox is because its all portable. With removable battery to easily replace another when the juice is out. Perfect for camping and outdoors. Not only that, its super loud and clean. Jbl might sound a little better but its ac power and needs to be plug in the wall.

It's not a fair comparison. The Soundboks is a battery-powered Bluetooth speaker, while JBL partybox is AC-powered.

The soundboks have a sharp sound that makes my ears bleed. The JBL have a better sound all around. If you like songs and drops with bass, then go for the jbl 100%
