Wonderful voice, wonderful composition! Being young in the 80's was a great time, no social media crap, great music on the radio, and not to mention no mobile phones. It was a great time to be alive. The kids today don't know what they have missed. These are crazy times.... we were young and everything was new and awesome!

First time I heard this fantastic song it was playing on the jukebox in a bar in Juarez, Mexico around 1971 and I was drunk but not too drunk that I didn't remember it the following day and went out and bought the album featured on this post. Still have the album to this day!!

this tune is so infectious & ludicrously influential, the chorus tune is still sung up & down the UK at football matches with fans of various clubs adding their own lyrics in homage to their best players, in Giorgio's original version here its almost like the chorus is being sung at a match the way it reverberates, it reminds me of my old mate Daz & me old Dad too, I miss you both terribly, respect fellas
