Prince of Persia: The two thrones.
I was 13 and that summer my grandmother died, I was so shocked that I just couldn't sleep, I was overwhelmed with this fear that something horrible will happen if I slept.
So I would stay up all night playing this game until I felt safe and calm. This game kept me company in my darkest hours and actually helped me through the trauma, that mission where you stumble in the dark searching for the light (the kings sword) is still with me to this day. This game made me realize no matter how bad things get, there will always be a glimmer of light shining through the darkness.
